update: ok, well that didn't work. They should've included some text message examples on the command list page.

...actually, I had written a long comment about this but I'm just gonna make it a post in evan_tech. But I think LJ has really hurt for lack of design.

yeah, design tends to take a backseat in LJ-land... it's still a powerful communication tool, moreso than any other blogging solution out there. Ashame that it still has the "teen" albatross. Case in point:
