This was wonderful! I was so pleased when someone claimed this prompt - it was something I've wanted to see turned into a fic for a while but knew I couldn't do it justice - and you've really created a fantastic moment for me here!

It's something I've always wondered about- the how and why of Draco/Asteria, what made them choose each other, especially when he would have been pretty undesirable all things considered after the war. But I can really see the story you've given them here, with it originally being an pre-arranged coupling but Draco being completely taken in by the sight of her (absolutely love the imagery of her dancing, being 'alive in a place of death', beautful!) and then Asteria finding all these small nuances in him which actually impress her and see something in him worth saving ( ... )
