Interhouse Fest 2015: Sign Ups
It’s that time again! Prompt claiming for interhouse_fest 2015 is now OPEN!
Before we begin, let’s go over some important Things to Remember:
★ Sign-ups will run from August 24 - September 7.
★ Prompts can only be claimed ONCE. We will cross prompts off once they are claimed!
★ However, that will be done on Leigh and Sam Standard Time, which is also known as "when our schedule allows." We both work full time and usually don’t get home until late evening. So when you sign up, you will list your top three prompt choices. If someone has already claimed your first prompt choice (and we didn't get it marked off fast enough), you will be given your second prompt!
★ Prompting is first come, first served.
★ Prompt numbers are the numbers that are large, bold, and in red. You really can’t miss them. ;D
★ You will receive an e-mail confirming your prompt. We’ll likely send a batch of notices out around 10 p.m. Eastern time -- if you claim a prompt after then, you’ll get your e-mail the next evening. Please allow 24 hours before you e-mail us asking about your sign up!
★ You are allowed to pick your own prompt. Obviously, we would prefer if you didn't -- because isn't that half the fun, challenging yourself with something that wasn't your idea? However, if nothing tempts you, you can choose your own prompt.
★ Please respect your prompt. While prompts are meant to be interpreted as the writer/artist sees fit, please don't ignore the requested pairings and squicks.
★ As this is a laid back fest, we are pretty relaxed with extensions -- and we still plan to be. However, the maximum number of extensions allowed will be three one-week extensions.
★ If you drop out without alerting us, you will not be allowed to sign up for the 2016 round.
★ Stories will be due no later than Thursday, October 29th.
★ You are under no obligation to sign up if you prompted. Likewise, you don't have to have prompted in order to sign up! We welcome everyone, so spread the word!
