It's really more a riches to rags and back to riches with Eddie Murphy coming along for the ride story. But yeah, con men mostly.

Love the movie, Con Men with hearts of gold!

def. Con men/caper flick. Love the bit in "Coming to America" where Eddie Murphy's character gives two old bums money, and you see it's the old guys fro Trading Places "Mortimer, we're back!"

I feel it's actually a movie about con men getting destroyed by their own greed and arrogance. You always have to be aware of when the mark turns on you.
