Hmm, the cat starts out with a pretty serious disadvantage (a 50% chance of actually being dead). IOW, 50% of the time, the dog wins and doesn't even have to fight. I'm a cat person but I have to go with the dog this time, even if it is a behaviorally-conditioned one.
