Well, to me, in that instance (even if Nichols hadn't been preoccupied with Ross's family) Logan just seemed the right person to do it.

Excellent - lovely emotion, nice pacing and it's so great to see all the Major Case people (poor Mikey not fitting into his blues depresses me tho :-( )

Thank you! It was fun to write all of them and finally address this episode that I've pretty much been pretending didn't exist since it aired...

Haha, Mike is both too vain to admit that his dress blues don't fit and too cheap to buy a new pair, even if he would admit it.
