You're not crazy. People always say things about gift horses and mouthes, but if something looks too good to be true - it usually is. You need to step back, consider all the options, look at what you want. Friends can be very persuasive, but you have to do what is best for you - and that can be harder than you think.

Do I sound self-righteous yet? I don't mean to come off preachy. Here's the bottom line, best advice you'll ever get from me:

Figure out what makes you happy - then do it, as long as you don't have to hurt other people, you'll never regret it.

Haha, nah, not preachy. I appreciate the advice! You're right though, I need to step back and consider my options and see if this is the right thing for me. And as much as I would LOVE to live in Texas, right now, that just isn't right for me.
