I made a Dutch apple pie on Pi Day, too! Only my oven gave out. BUT, the element was replaced and, it turns out you can take the almost-baked pie from your fridge and cook it the rest of the way later. So, PIE!

Also, me and a co-worker named a cat Moo Blues recently. His brother was Mo' Betta'. :)

Pie is a very forgiving desert when it comes to being half-baked (there's a moral in there somewhere, I'm sure).

I love those names! Sometimes a name is so obviously right for a cat--definitely the case with The Moo Cat. I am amused that he responds to me saying moooooooo. It's fun.

It is. I'm still eating it, although I have charged iridium with eating her share so it might not be around all that much longer.

Every time I see "Pi(e)" I wonder what pi times e is.

Oh, 8.53973422267 as it turns out. No mystery there. Oh well.

Hee! I am not so much of a math nerd* that I ever thought of doing that. Thanks!

*Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I don't identify as a math nerd, but I guess I'm math nerd active.

I accept your assertion that the Moo Cat is unimpressed, but at first it looked more as if he had just eaten ALL THE PIES.

His black nose is ricidulously cute.

I can see that! Oddly, he and Spot are the first cats I've ever had who are completely uninterested in human food.

It is, isn't it?
