Our old house had an oleander tree in the backyard, and in the summer it smelled delicious but those flowers are poisoness. It's cliche in LA now to compare how everyone loves the smell of the flowers but they're so deadly to the lifestyle, at least I think anyway, that whole beautiful/deadly thing has been done to death
