I actually did it. I wrote Carey Mulligan/David Tennant fic! There are, like, two people who will read this, and I already conned them into doing so already. Oh well.

I am just like, all smiles. I never even THOUGHT this pairing might exist in fic somewhere but I am all over it. Even worse, I literally just watched the most recent Single Father episode, so my brain is filled with his gorgeous Tennanty voice therefore I can hear every word in my brain. Although I am thrown off a smidge whenever people say "Care" in this because THAT IS MY NAME but I am not remotely Mulliganesque.

I haven't watched Single Father yet! Is it good? Is David lovely? Oh wait, it's David freaking TENNANT, so of course he's lovely.

It is SO GOOD OMG. Have you seen the David/Peter O'Toole/RTD Casanova miniseries? Because the mom in Single Father, well, she was a certain main character in that as well, so immediately when you know the premise of the show you're like "AAGGHH IT WILL NEVER WORK OUT FOR THOSE TWO!" and it is even more heartbreaking. But yeah, only two episodes in and it is exxxxcellent.

I did see it! It disturbed the crap out of me, but I loved it. And then ...watched it twice in a row over one weekend a couple of years ago. There's pretty much nothing I wouldn't watch for David Tennant.
