I heard from a very reputable source that David is getting married tonight to Emily.

I blinked. My brain went into MAJOR overdrive before realising that "oh it just must be some inside joke amongst demily shippers...?"

& then I noticed that the post wasn't from a Bones comm or a Demily

I can totally understand your mistake. The names David and Emily in the same sentence always create a picture of my favorite celebrity "couple" -- no exceptions. ;)
