great tutorial! i really love the coloring! although, when i tried to do this in my photoshop 7.0, the multiple layer provided all these white lines down my image. the only way they went away was when i used the multiple layer on 100% opacity. =/ i'm wondering if this happened to you also.

No, that did not happen to me. Is your original picture hi-res? If so, I'm honestly not sure why it would do that. If the picture is not too dark, I would suggest going with the 100% opacity if it makes those lines go away like you said. You can also use curves or another screen layer to brighten the pic up afterwards if it's too dark.
