It's a pity this wonderful community has come to an end and it's also a pity that I've discovered it so late! But, anyway, thanks a lot to the mods for all the amazing job you've done in those past 50 rounds! This community will be truly missed! ♥
Wow, this comm had a long and wonderful run. I only participated a couple of times but wish I could have done a few more rounds cause all the inspiration posts and challenges here were seriously awesome!
Also this comm has a special place in my icon heart because this was the first multifandom comm I participated in. I was pretty scared to enter the big multifandom icon world from my tiny little fandom-specific iconing corner but I'm so glad I did. And another challenge here is basically what helped me come up with the style that i most enjoy using, so that was pretty awesome too :) So yeah I have many lovely insp20in20 memories, thanks a lot for them and for all your hard mod work here! ♥
I'm sad to see this community go. It has a very special place in my heart. I've only entered three times, but each time was significant to me: the first was my first 20in20 entry anywhere, and also my (in my opinion) breakthrough icon post; the second is my favorite icon post of mine, where I got to try out all the different techniques and really expand on my style; and the third is my last icon post at the moment. And the styles in these three posts are so similar yet so different all at once. In a way, I've started and not-yet-but-temporarily ended my journey with inspired20in20.
Thank you so much for all the work you and the other mods have put in over the years! 50 challenges is such a milestone. You guys always had wonderful and inspiring challenges, and I'm glad I got to take part in a few of them.
This community has been so important to me over the years. It has helped me improve so much as an icon maker. I never would have tried so many techniques without this community. It was wonderful seeing all the other members work, as well as all the wonderful inspiration posts. I'm sad to see it go, but I am so amazed and appreciative for all the rounds it has been around. Thank you so much to all the mods and members for making this community such an important part of my life and experience as an icon maker!
I also wanted to mention that I had my old lj account set for deletion (inthegiggleloop) but I stopped it because I didn't realize I would lose the icon posts I made for this community from that account and I really wanted to keep them.
I am so sorry to hear this community closing :( I remember how much Caryn was so patient explaining certain technical aspects when I participated the first time here!
Thanks to everyone who ran this amazing community! <3
