[The voice feed cuts in, but for a moment there's nothing to hear. Just the sound of rustling leaves and branches, and the whip of wind, and someone cursing softly and indistinctly under their breath as they attempt to grapple with the not-Dreamberry thing.

[Then a voice. Young, male, a little panicked.]Uh, hello? Can anybody hear me

[When Ken gets back to that, he still sounds breathless.]

I have no idea there's just this tree, well, there's lots of trees and there's this volcano and... whoa--

[silence for a moment, then:]

Sorry, nearly dropped the phone again. Anyway I can kinda see a long way but I got no idea where any of this stuff is! Are you getting a jungle too?

Soccer! I did soccer! Bunch of other stuff, too, but mainly that...

[He giggles again. This is... well, pretty freaky, but he can't deny it's also a bit of a buzz.]

Could try and jump, I guess... don't see any way down from this one. Pretty awesome view, hey?

Right, I'm gonna go do that... pretty close already and I wanna get a better idea where we fetched up anyway... I'll radio back when I get up there!

[The transmission cuts off abruptly. Reckless though Ken can get even he's not gonna try climbing and talking. He's not that eager to break his neck.

[Silence for a few minutes, then wind. Then:]

Okay, you still there?

[Action!]

[Okay, looks like he's not the only one who found himself up a tree this morning.

[Unlike Ken, however, this guy - and he looks familiar, doesn't he? - looks to be up there because he wants to be, not because someone ran off with his bed and replaced it with... well, whatever this tree is but it looks like something would be more at home in a rainforest than his bedroom. Either way he doesn't look at all unhappy to be up there. At the sight of him, Ken lets go of the tree with one hand and returns the wave.]

I just woke up here and I'm stuck!

[Action!]

[insorrow]

You know I'm not even sure? I went to bed like normal, then the next thing I know I'm waking up here. Got no idea how I got up here...

Or where the city went.

[unfearful]

Are you all right?

[insorrow]

Yeah... Yeah, I'm fine. Well, as long as I don't try to move much. I'm just... a bit stuck.

How about you? You're not anywhere dangerous, right?

[unfearful]

I guess so, though I'm not sure if anywhere is safe anymore.
