Earthworm Jim?! Be still my heart! I loved that cartoon when I was a kid, and I was crazy about that video game (although I played it on SNES and only rented it because I didn't know where to buy it). I actually downloaded it on the Wii recently, but I can't remember how to a damn thing so I haven't really been able to play it.

I have a copy of Dune but I haven't read it yet. Maybe when Hyperion is done consuming my brain...

It was such an entertaining cartoon, but I totally agree that I have no idea how to play the game if I ever came across it again. It was fun, though, from what I recall.

You should read Dune. It's really smart reading (aside from typos) and I am glad to have read it. Unlike with some other classics, ahem. I should pick up Hyperion, that sounds intriguing.

I have so much stuff on my to-read list right now it's insane, but at least I already have a copy of Dune at home. That might be next after I finish the three remaining Hyperion books.
And yeah, if you're into scifi you really need to check it out. Definitely one of the best things I've ever read.
