Well you can do what I did when I first started playing Ophelia (I got my bloodline beginning November, but I started playing her 3rd week of August), get dormand blood activated.
You won't have Insomnium or the advantages just yet, but you'll get all the flaws (nightmares, visions, etc etc etc) which is most of the fun playing Alucinor anyway :)

according to some personal plot that the local STs threw my way, I already have the flaws, sort of

dreams area already plaguing him, even when he is awake

I had the application up on the database, but it was 6 months early, and the local Sts looked at it, nodded in approval, then told me to take it down because they couldn't move it because of the BP issue
