Ok,, first off, thank you for writing Gen! I basically read everything under the sun, but i was missing Supernatural so badly that i've been devouring Gen fics and there don't seem to be enough. LOL

Thanks for reading, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was kind of compelled to write gen. All these Big Bangs this year, and so few of them are gen

First, happy flailing for a good gen fic! That seems to be becoming increasingly rare in this fandom.
Second, it's a pleasure to read something so meticulously crafted. It's clear that you put a lot of work into your plotting and the research and the organization and finally, the prose. It's very readable, in a way I wish more fic was.
Congrats on succeeding at such a huge undertaking - it's clever and unique and I'll be looking for your name on future fic.
This is absolutely wonderful, a great alternative to the canon, extremely well thought out and really spot on with the characters you had voiced. Hendrikson, especially, I feel you had him perfectly, and Sam's head space felt extremely realistic and true to character.
I really enjoyed reading this and know I'll come back to it. Great job, thank you for sharing!
Oh, yay! I love casefic, and this was a really meaty, involved one. I didn't even notice it was gen! (Coming from me, this is significant, you understand. *g*) Inside Sam's head may be a tricky place for you, but you pulled it off brilliantly. Thank you for writing!
I came here via a rec in spngenlove. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this - left my children to the mercies of weekend TV so I could read it in one sitting! It ticked a lot of boxes for me - I like casefics, and 'what would have happened if a different choice was made' fic, and stories about the brothers which are wincest free.... It was great!
