I have gotten more confessions out of my kids with those very words. "I got a call from your teacher." or "The neighbors had interesting things to say about you."

You have no idea. Truly, you'd think my kids would learn to tell me things up front. However, sometimes I'll just throw something out there to see what they 'fess up to. :)
