Work was awful today. Just. Awful.

And I find we're getting more beets in our CSA box tomorrow. Now, I love me some beets (BORSCHT!) but seriously, we've been getting beets in 50% of our boxes. TOO MANY BEETS.

Also it is hot. And the cats want to be on me. WHYYYYYYY?

The dogs did the same to me during the 100+ heatwave a couple of years ago. We had to camp out in the living room, because the upstairs was just not happening (who knew mattresses could retain that much heat?), and the dogs are all, "Great! You're sleeping down here! Now we will snuggle." No way, dogs. No way.
