windshields aren't that big of a deal.. depends on the car though. If its in good condition I would go for it. Depending on the condition of the car.. you could easily fix the windshield and buy the car for good money.
new computer can be rrreeaaalllyyy expensive.. deff get it checked out.. but I wouldn't think its going to be a cheap fix.
