Heh, I'm in the middle of Catcher as we speak. And I mentioned Kite Runner to my mom a bit ago and she brought it for me because HER mother said it was wonderful. Damn our friends and their influences on what literature we read!
Let me know how Ishmael is, I own it but have never read it.
