i just visited tim in hosp. He is rapidly deteriorating. he can see from one eye, just move his head enough to nod and can, with intense effort, move his left arm enough to communicate (you say the alphabet and he squeezes your hand at the right letter.. then once you've got the first 3 letters down everyone tries to guess the word and he squeezes ( Read more... )

Timmy, you are one of the best people I have ever met.

Here I am bitching about a girl not meeting up with me and acting like its the worst thing possible, only to be reminded what you are going through and that you are dealing with it so well. Here we have real proof that I am the lucky one in our friendship. Tim is lucky to have you as well, even if it was for such a short time in his life, surely you made it that much better.

I envy you. Your strength, your compassion, your convition. Not your situation. I doubt I am not the only one who wishes they could do something for you and Tim to make it 100% better.

Puts things into perspective hey. Here I am too getting angsty about a girl only to read this above and see that my 'problems' are minuscule compared to what other people are going through.

he's home now. he's doing much better. we've been hanging out a lot, so that's going well too :)
