Concept art of two of Don Bluth's canceled projects.

Don Bluth's Beauty and the Beast
East of the Sun, West of the Moon

If these movies were more like Dragon's Lair and less like Thumbelina, they would've been absolutely awesome. Alas, I only have dreams of a parallel universe. ;;

Secret of NIMH is my favorite. D: Yes, it's different from the book, but that doesn't make it a bad thing.

I liked Land Before Time and All Dogs Go to Heaven, and Rock-A-Doodle is a guilty pleasure. Anastasia's okay, just not my favorite. I don't hate Thumbelina despite its flaws, though you're right that it (and PatP) is definitely missing something. Pebble and the Penguin was meh. It's been years since I've seen Titan A.E. so I don't remember much of it at all, but it was one of those films with a potentially great plot that got riddled with holes. I dislike American Tail due to personal tastes; it felt too glurgy (Plot: "SUFFER FEIVEL SUFFER. BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!") for my tastes, Feivel irritated me, and it really annoyed me that the film would constantly go out of its way to have him almost find his family, only to conveniently have both parties not look in the right direction. A Troll in Central Park has no redeeming values whatsoever.

I don't remember--it's been a long time ago! I tend to get scatterbrained sometimes.

Admittedly, it's been years since I've seen AAT, so I don't remember much of it. As they always say, one's poison is another's ambrosia. :)
