When I was in college a few years ago, there was a girl who didn;t know Sherlock Holmes. It must be a special skill, being that ignorant....

Even if you haven't read the book or seen a movie adaption, you should have a basic idea of what it is because of media exposure.

Exactly! I mean, it's one thing to not have seen a movie or read a book, but Jekyll & Hyde are so ingrained into our culture who hear phrases like "S/He's got a Jekyll & Hyde personality" all the time, so at least someone would know their names and who they were. It'd be like if an American didn't recognize Ronald McDonald.

*obligatory Justin Bieber is my Romeo comment*

WHY.

Maybe it's a case of someone asking if there's Jekyll/Hyde yaoi.

At least they're not comparing Bieber with other "lovers" in literature. There's not a single fangirl who'd gush, "He's a romantic hero, just like Heathcliff!" I hope.

Ahh, but is there yaoi/self-masturbation in this manga adaptation? That is the big question.

It's like when that one guy on that one game show didn't know Pikachu.

He could have won a huge sum of money if he knew about Pokemon, but I guess even to this day, not everybody knows what Pokemon is.
