I don't find it all that scary. Mainly because the men I've seen play it, while they freak the fuck out hilariously, KEEP playing it.

I wouldn't know about the game since I haven't played it myself. I just enjoy watching people's reactions. XD But of course they have to keep playing! How are ya gonna see more of the horror and the player's suffering if they quit early? :o

I can't deal with games like that, especially if I'm alone. it's not so bad if there's someone there so I can nickname the monsters and be all "oh look, it's another fleshbeast god they're so meaty and gross I wonder if it's the same one that nearly killed me earlier," but when I'm alone I just want to scream until my throat bleeds. no amount of nervous babble can save me. :

I can never play games like Amnesia, especially alone. I'd be screaming my head off. D: That's why I prefer laughing at other players' suffering watching other people play. James expressed interest in playing this game, so I'd rather huddle and cling to him so we wouldn't be alone. ;;
