Compromise. See if someone's willing to beta before AND after you revise the draft. If something's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Dunno about betaing, but for writing in general, after revising. Wouldn't wanna waste anyone's time with crap writing from me. :P Plus I usually have a sense of what I want to write, always.

This reminds me of the fun I had collabing with you for Fumbling Towards Serendipity. Would love to do that again sometime. :D

Man, I remember! I benefited a lot from that. ♥♥♥ Sometime you gotta get on AIM so I can ramble on about my novel about toys and violence and heart-warming/wrenching sibling stuff and gay puppets. I-I mean buttsecks. I-I mean, THE GOOD STUFF.

Now that my job's got me in tune with writing again, inactivity from it makes me feel blah. We shall fix this post haste! Or at least when I put the final touches on balancing work, "babysitting", and a social life. :P I'M ALMOST THERE
