Wow, that doesn't match the book at all. Not that that's a bad thing, but I suspect the movie is not going to be nearly as exciting as the trailer wants to make us think it will be.

Yeah, the trailer is amazingly exciting. Also, there's way too much of her younger years, which I'd think they'd have to cut for the movie. Despite the obvious negatives, I'm still tempted...

I don't have much of an attachment to this particular book, so I'm not too upset. But, yeah, typically it does suck when it's too different. Or for anime/drama CDs, when the voice is just *wrong*.

Yep, Ciel is definitely doing Hakkenden. The latest issue had the first three chapters in it, and the next issue is supposed to have chapters 4-6, so I guess they're trying to catch up to where it was in IchiRaci as fast as possible. With them publishing it so fast, my guess is that there aren't any changes, but I haven't gone through it to be sure.

I've been really tempted by the re-release of Kimiboku--like you, I own the originals, so I don't need to buy them, but the covers are so pretty...especially the first one, I love that picture. ;_; I keep hoping at least one of them will have some new content so I have an excuse to buy them. >.>

I also would love to see a continuation of Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike that is also out-and-out BL, if we're throwing out wishes.

Confirmation, yes! I want them to catch up ASAP so that I can find out what happens! I started wondering who'd be paired up in that manga and I could only come up with Shino with various people, but with my shota-aversion I really would want him looking his real age if they go the BL route.

I have a feeling that when I go to Japan and see the covers I'll just buy them. So easy to resist when looking at a pic on screen, but when the book is right in front of you? No resistance!

Komatta toki seriously needs to be BL-ified. Kiyomine and Takara 4ever, seriously. Well, I could see Takara possibly pairing up with some girl, but Kiyomine? Never.

Funny that you should mention Abe. I bought 2 volumes of her Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike and I'm confused since it was advertised as shounen-ai but seems to be a teen story/coming of age.

Also bought Super Lovers and it's um... it's interesting?^^

I like the BBC series so much that I felt INSULTED by the first 20 minutes of the "Pride and Prejudice" movie I tried to watch on a plane.

I don't know if I'll ever bother watching the movie at this point. It seems to want to get all exciting and sexy...and fails. For me, at least.
