I'm sure the hearts of many fangirls melted at the whole puppy thing. Sometimes I'm amazed at what other people squee over. Sometimes I'm amazed at what I squee over. No accounting for people's tastes, I guess.

But yeah, I think you can't help but feel cheated if the author sets up the scenario, but is too chicken to take it all the way through. If it has all the earmarks of a grand torture piece, then we want our torture dammnit. And of course cuddling and soothing balm on the whipmarks and happi endo. XD

Oh god, I imagined horrible things re: the puppy after reading your comment. Everything from puppy being cruelly killed to something a bit more kinky...Which is so gross I wish my mind wasn't in the gutter so much.

I should be used to authors not taking the story to the logical conclusion as I've been disappointed over and over, but it still gets me almost every time. :P

No wonder as It's a work by Barbara Katagiri. But the art by Kitakami Ren is yummy.

Will you review Natsukage? I wish you will...XD since Natsukage looks really interesting. I've read from a review that it was so good in portraying the real yakuza and that's rare for yaoi novels of this genre. That sounds so tempting. XD
