Read two fun bonus stories in the Deadlock series. One is set in the first book when leader of the Latinos Net (?) is released from solitary and sees Tonia, his "girl." Somewhere in the first book, it's revealed that Tonia is Net's younger brother, but they're pretending to be lovers for Tonia's protection. (I think one of Tonia's exes was a big ass...can't remember if he was the one who raped Yuuto or beat him up, or raped Marshmallow Mathew or what.)

Huh, I guess I should reread the book since I seemed to have missed some big details. Though frankly I like the second and third books more than the first...

BTW, have you read the spin-off with Rob? Just wondering if it was any good (I'm unlikely to read it since I am not a fan of spin-offs).

I haven't read it. I wasn't really a big fan of Rob in the main series...although sometimes I end up liking characters better when they have their own story.
