WTH, G5?

So I haven't been happy with G5 of My Little Pony ever since the info came out about all the Pony races being separate. Totally depressing enough, but at least it was supposed to be a new verse. Now more info shows that it's the G4 verse way in the future. Twilight and company are still alive, apparently, as they're going to be in it in supporting

I've never been a big fan of "next generation" stories, since it usually pushes out the original cast and ages them up considerably even if it hasn't been long enough in "real time" for that to make sense. I've never seen MLP, but that sounds very annoying, and I would also probably consider it an AU!

I'm so sorry this year has been so awful! I'm glad you and your mom have bounced back and hopefully your dad will be able to rest and recover without everyone coming over and bothering him all the time. How inconsiderate of them! I don't have any words regarding your cousin, that's too horrible, and I'm so sorry for your family having to deal with all of that. *hugs*
