So I learned today that James Garner died last night. I know he was getting on, but it was still a sad shock. I feel so bad for his family. I've actually had some minimal contact with his daughter; she's on Tumblr and she Follows me. It really comes out in her posts how much she loves her father. And that is awesome that James was married to the same woman for so long! I was pleasantly surprised to read that Lou Albano was married to the same woman his entire life, too--for 56 years.
And it certainly doesn't help with worrying for the darlings still around--even when they're not that age. Mike gave me and redkilt/mrdobalena a scare the other day when he suddenly canceled his Fall UK tour; we were on the verge of freaking out until he posted a "It's not a health reason; I'm fine" status on FB.
And for the darlings that are getting on in years.. oh gosh. I dread that inevitable day, too. It doesn't help that a significant number of my darlings passed in their 60s/70s.

Yikes, that would be a scare. Good thing he posted that update.
Totally. That's a concern for me, too. So many died younger than they should have, and many of the ones left are in their mid-80s. One can't help wondering how much longer we'll get to have them around.
