That was a fun quiz in the last post. I got to reminisce on old favorites and even talk about a couple of series I normally don't. And I really am idly wondering if sometime I'd like to try writing that Old West AU fic with Sephiroth and Aerith that I dreamed about years ago. As for which character of Simon's should show up... I think it depends. If you need a good villain, then I'd say Mel Barnes (going after Aerith, natch...). I love how you write Barnes.
If you already have a villain, then you could either have Jim Nation as a helpful passerby?

Aww, thanks! I'm thinking more of good guy characters to populate the town. Jim Nation is a possibility, if he doesn't stay in Dodge City. I'm thinking the town might be the one from Two-Gun Lady, which was unnamed and its state/territory unknown. Then again, I might want it to be the place from The Persuader, as I was actually considering writing some fanfiction involving the characters from that film. So many choices....
It would be interesting to have Barnes as a villain at some point. That would partially depend on the setting, though; if he hasn't been to Colorado he probably hasn't been farther East than that, either. I was leaning towards a Midwest setting, but that could change.

**nods** I wonder if Sancho Fernandez might've gone East after the San Sebastian fiasco...
Good point about Barnes; maybe you'd be better off with Poole, then, since he's clearly traveled move. And his verbal tics are fun to write.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I like writing for Barnes; he's so deliciously evil to have in a story. But it would be interesting to try Poole. Except I wonder how he'd get out of it alive, LOL. If Seph caught him....

At least, perhaps, it will incite further interest in the old TV series, I hope. I just wish Hollywood would stop remaking everything!
