Some of the people I work with are such jackasses. I hate it when stupid people make fun of me for being smarter than them.

Poor Roy. He is innocent. He will continue to be innocent, unless proven guilty in a court of law.

I'm really getting excited about Metrocon! This is a con I will be on time for!

Your point is quite correct. We tend to presume that people are guilty if they've been arrested but need to remember that an arrest is not a guarantee of guilt. A person is, by our laws, innocent until proven guilty.
