I think it's funny that it's faster to get a postcard from Haifa to Canada than from Canada to New York.

The reason why a postcard takes so long is that Homeland Security has to read it and translate it into several languages successively to see whether it really means something that can be interpreted as a terrorist threat. Especially when it comes from a hotbed of leftist terrorism like, um, Canada. Dubya's tanking harder than ever in the polls and they're desperate for anything to scare the American people into supporting him. :-/
