it's just a relatively short little snippet, but i really really loved this. i loved the world you built, the letter to Umma and everyone's personalities peaking through. it's enjoyable... well, in the grisly and dark way you enjoy something about this kind of subject. i think my favorite line in the whole thing is "a life-sized game of 'toy soldiers.'" i don't know why, but that one line really struck me. overall, this is quite great for your "first fanfic piece ever." although i'm certain that this isn't the first thing you've written, i really do hope it's not the last. :)

I've only written stories for school but I've never published anything so to get this much positivity on my first go is just wow. my brain is on over-drive right now so nothing might make sense but I really appreciate the comment and I hope I will improve along the way.
