Summary: Kota locked himself to the world for 3 years and he even have times that he wanted to die already but he was always stopped by unexpected situation like fate didn't want him to die. After visiting a grieve, he accidentally met the most important person in his life which he thought was already dead. He treated it as an opportunity to fix what he have done wrong to him 3 years ago. But the real aftermath of the nightmare happened that years ago just began when the 5 members of Blazerz received a call stating that he knew everything that happened that night and he was planning to take revenge for the death of Sakura Minato.

Always at the end, Kota regret his words.
He doesn't mean to say it but it just came out of his mouth. He was furious seeing Hikaru and Kei together, they were not just with each other but it seems like they were closer than before. He was jealous, envious and frustrated at the same time. He knew what Hikaru was planning to do and if possible he wanted to lock Kei on his apartment so that no one will steal him away from him again but he can't do that. He didn't want Kei to be hurt again because of him. With that mind set he can't just tell Kei that he should not be closer to Hikaru, that he should not go out with him and be friend with him. He wanted to tell him that he should just stay by his side and look to no one else but only to him but it was all impossible considering the circumstances they were in. He is nothing to Kei. He is just an annoying neighbour who keeps on pestering him by causing him trouble. He doesn't own Kei at all so he have no rights to tell him what he should do and act like he is the master of his life.
"Kota… are you with me?" Kota heard someone called his name and he was shocked when he blink his eyes and he saw Yuya's face near him. He jolted and almost lost his balance while sitting on a chair, fortunately he was able to hold on the corner and the fall was prevented. "You're spacing out, are you okay?" he asked as he put the remaining folders that Kota need to fix on the side table.
"I… I'm sorry…" Kota apologized as he attentively stand up and started his work again. It was his last day in fixing the files room that was part of his activity.
"You can space out all you want when you are done." Yuya told him. "Only few more and you're job will be done so bear with it."
Finally after 3 days of working in all of those files, Kota accomplished his job. Yuya congratulated him in finishing the task and since they have spare time to used his teacher invited him to watch a play in the tennis court. There is a Tennis Competition held in their campus that day and Yuya knew a player that he wanted to take a look at. Since Kota doesn't have any plan scheduled after that he already agreed besides he also wanted to check on the sports club of his new school that he didn't bother to check when he was just starting.
Tennis is not his favourite sports but he knew that it was enjoyable to watch. There is a tennis club in his high school but he was just interested to watch that time because Aira, Hikaru's ex girlfriend was a member. As they reached the field they can already hear the cheering of the students for the player that they bet on. Yuya was looking for a particular block which he located in the Field C of the court. They found a suitable place to watch but as Kota wander his eyes he saw two familiar faces sitting side by side at each other and enjoying the view in front. It was Kei and Hikaru and they seemed enjoying the company of each other like they did last night. Hikaru was wearing his tennis uniform while talking to Kei. Like what happened the other night he felt a twist in his heart by seeing the two together.
"Daiki." Yuya called all of a sudden that startled Kota. He saw a little guy that was waving his hand towards his teacher. Daiki signalled them to approach the area as if he reserved a seat for them and unfortunately it was the same area where Kei and Hikaru were sitting together. "Kei, how are you?" Yuya asked as he sit down besides him.
"I'm fine sensei." Kei replied briefly. "I am here to support Daiki's game." he added normally.
"This is his first official game since he entered tennis club right?" Yuya chuckled. "I am here to cheer him as well… to boost his confidence."
"Confidence? I felt like it is more of a nervous one." Daiki replied.
"It's alright Daiki. I will not let you play if I know you are not good." Hikaru told him like a captain should do. "You can do this." he cheered confidently.
Kota was hearing their conversation but he didn't bother to join besides he doesn't really have a good connection to Daiki. For some reason, that guy always ignore him or more likely when their eyes meet he will avert it away immediately like he was avoiding him. He don't have any idea as to why but he have a guess. Daiki is Kei's best friend since high school and probably he knew everything what he did to Kei like when he rejected Kei's confession and hurt his feelings and that's the reason he was treating him a cold shoulder.
Daiki's first official game as a team member started and he was playing against a man with a bigger physique than him and good looking, making him an instant popularity to girl students inside the campus. Daiki is just your ordinary guy, he is cute but since he was small he was not that popular but he really didn't intended to be one from the very beginning.
His enemy comes first to served the ball and even Daiki have short legs and arms he was able to do a good amount of rally to his enemy but in the end the score was given to his rival. The next moments were heart-breaking as the score was taking a large gap making the enemy in lead. Daiki was looking frustrated that his rival was taking scores more to him. Hikaru told Daiki that he should just calm down and concentrate on the game but even how many times Hikaru said that Daiki still keep on doing mistakes.
"Is he alright?" Kota suddenly asked but he intended to say that to himself but it seems like Kei who was sitting besides Yuya heard what he said and commented that he noticed that Daiki looks pale for some reason. As the game progress to its climax, Yuya's phone ring and he excuse himself to answer the call. Kota, Hikaru and Kei were left together and the atmosphere was really awkward between them.
Hikaru stand up and said that he will going to the other bench to talk to someone but Kota can guess that he just said that to run away from him. "Hikaru." Kei called his name but Hikaru just pat Kei's head, smiled and then go away. Kota saw everything and he nod down and bite his lower lips. It's painful to see Kei being touch by someone else other than him.
"Hikaru is such a reliable captain." Kei started to talk. "He takes care of his subordinates and he was really considerate. He raised their confidence and cheer them the most. He said that he will going to retire as the captain next year to concentrate on his thesis and so this is his last time to be with everyone and because of that he was doing his best to push everyone's strengths." he continued to talk. "You know about this aren't you? Besides the two of you were friends before." Kei asked him naturally.
Hikaru… Hikaru… Hikaru… that is everything that Kota heard from Kei's mouth. He grabbed on Kei's hand and dragged him out of the crowd. They entered a room with no students on it. He wanted Kei to stop calling his name, he wanted Kei to call him instead than him.
"K...Kota, what are we doing here?" Kei asked in wonder.
"Stop talking about Hikaru in front of me." Kota ordered him. It's not because they are not in good terms but he can't take it that the guy that he likes was mentioning other's name. He knew that his jealousy is out of place but seeing and hearing it repeatedly is making the bottle of his patience full until he can't take it and the emotions was bursting out. "Stop talking about him all the time." he added.
Kei look confused but still he was able to reply him "What if I talk about him? Hikaru is a nice guy and I just… I just want to share that to you."
"I know that already." Kota told him. "I know Hikaru is a good guy… I know that already because we are friends for a long time. We are best friends… ex-best friends. You don't need to tell me about that anymore." he emphasized then he paused for a moment. "Please stop talking about him already… please stop seeing him already… please… don't let him touch you like he owns you."
"Why?" Kei asked him seriously.
Because I'm jealous.
"B...because…"
"It doesn't concern you anyway right?" Kei continued his words. "Why bother? You said it last night… that you didn't care at all. Whatever kind of relationship Hikaru and me have… it doesn't concern you. That is what you said the other day."
Kota grit his teeth as he watch Kei talk. His voice sounded confident but his expression was not. He looks like he was in pain and he felt that it was his fault. Kota grabbed Kei's head using his right hand and then he place his head on Kei's shoulder. "It's a lie…" he whispered, not sure if it is loud enough for Kei to hear but he spilled that with all his feelings bottled inside. He regret what he told Kei… he didn't mean those words. The truth is he really cared, he was jealous, he was affected by the closeness Hikaru and Kei was showing in front of him and he didn't like it. Kei didn't say a thing after that and all of a sudden an outburst was heard from the outside like something happened. Kota lifted up his head and then look outside and saw that there were lots of people inside the field where Daiki was playing. "Kei… something happened at field C." he told him.
The two went out and asked what just happened. One of the audience said that the smaller player collapsed all of a sudden and now was brought to the hospital because he doesn’t look good at all. Kei started to worried upon hearing that and Kota asked Kei if he wanted to go to the hospital which he agreed.
They ride on Kota's car and went straight to the hospital were Daiki was brought. As they run towards the front desk, Kota noticed that Kei vanished from his back. He look around but someone called his attention who was Ono. He was shocked to see him there and he forget that he was working in that hospital. "What are you doing here?" Ono asked him.
"I… a friend of mine was here." Kota answered. He didn't know where Kei go but he was glad he was not there. If Ono and Kei were to meet it will be a big trouble. "He was rushed here after collapsing and I came to visit."
"Who?"
"D...Daiki Arioka." Kota blurted out. Ono reacted like he knew the name. After asking a few questions a nurse called Ono and so he got separated to Kota, he on the other hand went to look for Kei who suddenly vanished from his visions with an unknown reason. He wander around the lobby but he was not there until he look at the comfort room and find Kei washing his hands steadily.
"Kei." Kota called softly but it make the younger guy startled. "A… are you alright?" he asked.
"E...eh? Y...yeah… I… I'm just…" Kei answered but because he was stammering Kota can't really understand what he was talking about but it was obvious that he was not alright.
"Do you want to go back?" Kota suggested thinking that it was not a good idea for Kei to stay in that place after seeing Ono. Kei nodded his head softly agreeing with what he suggested but there were hesitations on him like he also wanted to see Daiki and see if his friend is alright. "I'll drive you back and then I'm going to come back to see if Daiki is alright." he told him. "I know you are worried about him but if you are not feeling alright… it's better if you will take a rest. I know he will be fine."
"T...thank you." Kei told him.

Yuya answered the question of one of his colleague's about work and after settlement he went back to the field where he noticed that Kei and Kota and even Hikaru was not there anymore. He sit down by himself and continued watching Daiki but all of a sudden while having a good rally with his enemy and trying to make the gap smaller he falls down and collapse. The audience were startled but the most shocked was the people who knew Daiki well. Hikaru and other members of the tennis club came nearer together and Yuya as well. Daiki was enduring a pain in his abdomen part and he curled to ease the pain.
"Daiki… what's happening?" Hikaru asked him.
"Let's bring him to the hospital." Yuya told Hikaru.
"Excuse me bu… but how about the game?" the referee asked who was obviously a newbei because he started to panic and didn't know what to do.
"Isn't it obvious? The game is already over." Hikaru told him raising his voice a little. "I'll call an ambulance."
"No… it's faster with my car." Yuya said. He lifted up Daiki and then they run towards the parking area and he drive going to the nearest hospital where he was immediately check by a doctor. Yuya and Hikaru waited for the doctor to come out from the emergency room. After a few minutes the doctor came out and asked what is their relationship with the patient. Yuya said that he was standing as his guardian recently.
The doctor said that Daiki needs to undergo laboratory test but he can tell that he have an acute appendicitis and he needed to be operated immediately. He also asked if anyone of them saw the symptoms of him like painful feeling in his stomach and vomiting or loss of appetite. Both of them noticed that but they thought that it was just him being considerate or not in the mood. They just found out that Daiki is suffering pain already but he was just hiding it to everyone.
"Please do everything you can to save his life." Yuya said.
"I will." The doctor replied confidently.
Hikaru said that he needed to go back to school to supervise the activity but he will come back again to check on Daiki's situation. Yuya went straight to Daiki's room who was awaken and feeling embarrassed about what happened. Yuya sit down on a chair near the bed while glaring at Daiki like he did a serious crime.
"I'm sorry." Daiki apologized by covering his eyes with his right arms. "I'm sorry Yuya." he repeated.
"Why did you hide it?"
"It's just… I… I don't want your family to worry." Daiki answered. "You've done a lot for me and I don't want to burden you anymore. Besides I thought that it was just an ordinary abdominal pain and ignore it…"
"Ordinary... my ass." Yuya answered back which made Daiki fidgeted. "You're clenching in pain because it was too much to endure and you say that it was just normal one? How many times did we tell you already that it's alright to be spoiled by my family? My mother said it herself… what do you think will she say if she found out about this?" he asked reprimanding.
"I'm sorry." Daiki said again like it's the only thing he can say.
Yuya sighed, cross his hands above his chest "It's not sorry but thank you right?" he asked. "You need to be strong for your operation so rest already. You don't need to think about responsibility on paying my family back. Just you being healthy and strong is enough for my family… and for me."
Author's Note: I give myself a deadline but i think i can't make it but i know it's still too early to say that but looking at what is happening with my life i am not really sure. Recently, my family is suffering another problem. My uncle was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disorder and because of that we stayed in the hospital for this 2 weeks taking care of him. Hospital is really an stressful place and as much as possible i don't want to come back after all the things i experienced that involved that place. It only brought me bad memories that i really don't want to remember. He is now back home but of course he still need to be taken care of and because of that i really don't have that much time to write. I did some chapter if i have spare time but i wonder if i can really make it to my deadline... but i hope i will.
I will do my best to give you random updates again so look forward to it. I will try to write on my spare time to give you updates for this fic specially things are getting more exciting inside the story. I wonder if you noticed ^___^ Anyway to those readers who give me their insights considering who the 'caller' is, thank you. As of now... ahhmmm... i think you're really thinking about it and you're really studying the story. I will not tell anything more since i am afraid i can give you spoiler and that will end the excitement of the story.

Yuya went straight to Daiki's room who was awaken and feeling embarrassed about what happened. Yuya sit down on a chair near the bed while glaring at Daiki like he did a serious crime.
"I'm sorry." Daiki apologized by covering his eyes with his right arms. "I'm sorry Yuya." he repeated.
"Why did you hide it?"
"It's just… I… I don't want your family to worry." Daiki answered. "You've done a lot for me and I don't want to burden you anymore. Besides I thought that it was just an ordinary abdominal pain and ignore it…"
"Ordinary... my ass." Yuya answered back which made Daiki fidgeted. "You're clenching in pain because it was too much to endure and you say that it was just normal one? How many times did we tell you already that it's alright to be spoiled by my family? My mother said it herself… what do you think will she say if she found out about this?" he asked reprimanding.
"I'm sorry." Daiki said again like it's the only thing he can say.
Yuya sighed, cross his hands above his chest "It's not sorry but thank you right?" he asked. "You need to be strong for your operation so rest already. You don't need to think about responsibility on paying my family back. Just you being healthy and strong is enough for my family… and for me."
Author's Note: I give myself a deadline but i think i can't make it but i know it's still too early to say that but looking at what is happening with my life i am not really sure. Recently, my family is suffering another problem. My uncle was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disorder and because of that we stayed in the hospital for this 2 weeks taking care of him. Hospital is really an stressful place and as much as possible i don't want to come back after all the things i experienced that involved that place. It only brought me bad memories that i really don't want to remember. He is now back home but of course he still need to be taken care of and because of that i really don't have that much time to write. I did some chapter if i have spare time but i wonder if i can really make it to my deadline... but i hope i will.
I will do my best to give you random updates again so look forward to it. I will try to write on my spare time to give you updates for this fic specially things are getting more exciting inside the story. I wonder if you noticed ^___^ Anyway to those readers who give me their insights considering who the 'caller' is, thank you. As of now... ahhmmm... i think you're really thinking about it and you're really studying the story. I will not tell anything more since i am afraid i can give you spoiler and that will end the excitement of the story.
