Summary: Kota locked himself to the world for 3 years and he even have times that he wanted to die already but he was always stopped by unexpected situation like fate didn't want him to die. After visiting a grieve, he accidentally met the most important person in his life which he thought was already dead. He treated it as an opportunity to fix what he have done wrong to him 3 years ago. But the real aftermath of the nightmare happened that years ago just began when the 5 members of Blazerz received a call stating that he knew everything that happened that night and he was planning to take revenge for the death of Sakura Minato.

-Chapter Twenty Three-
"I am not close to her so I don't know anything", "She is a bitch so I don't want to be friends with her?, "Sakura is hard to approach so I never tried talking to her when we were training together though she was really gorgeous and really popular with guys." "I am not interested." These are the descriptions about Sakura gathered by Kota when he tried to asked about her to the training facility that she joined when she was still alive. He realized that there is nothing he can gain by sitting down and feeling depressed about what happened and so he decided to continue his investigation about Sakura and to search for the possible candidates for the 'caller'. He can't waste time when in their situation every second counts. He thought that maybe there is someone on his training schools that can point out the possible individuals who are closer to Sakura and can help him or might be the answer to these prolong mystery game.
That is what Kota wanted to happen but as he talk to every students who are listed as Sakura's classmate, they all have negatives comments regarding her. She was hated and was not like despite of the fact that she was pretty and really talented but it's not a surprised to him anymore… probably. He always knew that Sakura hated to loss and so he always wanted to attained the highest among the rest. She has this competitive state of mind that only focus on winning and losing means embarrassment and downgrade for her. She was selfish and she can do anything just for her own personal wants. She is pretty, talented, charismatic, she attained all reasons to be like by the public but if you have a personal interaction to her you will know that she is the most unwanted type of individual living in this world.
"Why are you asking this stuffs? Sakura died 3 years ago right?" one girl asked Kota while he was taking notes of information that he gathered. "We heard that it was a terrible death and until now no one knows who did it to her."
"Well… I… I am investigating about her death." Kota answered. "She was part of our group and her death was also a shock for us. You can say that I am helping on gathering information's for what really happened to her." he added though it was obviously a lie.
"No one likes Sakura in this school and those who she considered friends were already graduated and not here anymore. Everyone who are left here are the younger students who became her errand people when she was reigning this place and because of that you can't hear any good things about her in this place." the friend of the first girl explained.
"But every small details are important for this investigation so please help me." Kota answered them which the girls easily agreed on. But like what the girls said, Kota really didn't receive important information about her. Her friends which were just 2 individual were both out of the country and cannot be contacted anymore. Others were new students and have no idea who Sakura was.
Finally Kota decided to leave. He gives thanks for the two girls who help him before he leave the area. He take a little break in a cafeteria just near the training school and do some thinking about it.

Kei was on his way to the cafeteria when he saw Hikaru on his way out of his classroom. He was talking to some of his classmates and then afterwards they separate ways. Since that time in the cafeteria, they were not able to talk to each other again and feeling guilty about what he said, he wanted to talk to him and apologized. Everyone have their own reasons as to why they were doing things and Hikaru is not an exemption to that rule. By the way he reacted that night, Kei can tell that he was holding something deep inside of him on his own making him unable to move on or making him unable to forgive Kota for what happened in the past. Kota was holding a lots of stuffs as well and he wanted to help him by making the two friends reconcile ones again.
Adjusting his crutches, he walk fast towards Hikaru and block his way. Hikaru sighed when he saw Kei, giving him a gaze that have a question mark on it. He still seems bother about what happen in the cafeteria the other day.
"I… I wanted to apologized about what I said in the cafeteria." Kei told him. "It's so insensitive of me."
"I am happy to hear that you know you are wrong." Hikaru replied back.
"I know but… I still think that you and Kota should reconcile." Kei said honestly. "It's not a matter of who did wrong first… what's done is done but you know… I can tell that the two of you were really close to each other and it's such a waste that you're acting like enemy now." he explained but Hikaru showed him his not-so-please face expression. Kei sighed thinking that it was useless to talk about it. "A...anyway… I really felt guilty about what I said and so… let me do something to repay you. Ask me anything and I will try to do it."
"Kiss me then." Hikaru blurted out all of a sudden.
"Not that kind of stuffs." Kei rejected instantly. "I know you are not interested on me… so please stop pretending that you are."
"You're wrong with that." Hikaru said, Kei raised an eyebrow. "I am interested with you but I don't particularly like you. I admit it… I thought I can use you to take revenge. You are someone important to him and I wanted to steal you but you yourself is tough and it's hard to drag you away from him. "
"I told you… I am not someone important to him. I am just a neighbour…"
Hikaru chuckled then he flicked Kei's forehead. "I guess you're eyes were not that clear." he whispered on him. "You said that you will do anything to repay for your words right? Treat me then… I know a good place to eat."
Hikaru and Kei went out of the campus and using Hikaru's car they went to a restaurant near a high school which Kei was familiar to. It was his old school, the place where he spent his high school years and experience different stuffs. He wanted to see the school again all this time but he was afraid that it will just bring bad memories. Hikaru pointed the restaurant where he wanted to eat. Kei knew the place, it was there when he was still in high school and he knew that place because it was Kota's favourite place to spend his spare time… you can say that he together with his friend.
The restaurant offered different rice meals but they also have ramen dishes. The owner of the restaurant recognized Hikaru immediately. Kei can't remember him, he was a new face. He used to remember an old man serving them their meals but now it was a younger one. "This is my friend…" Hikaru introduced him as they sit down in the table near the counter area. "Two beef ramen please." he added.
"Who said I wanted beef ramen?" Kei asked Hikaru.
"Who said that it was yours?" Hikaru asked back. "It's for me… I'm so hungry that I wanted to eat two bowls."
"Then I…" Kei said but he was stop by Hikaru by placing his left hand on his mouth.
"Just kidding… it's for you."Hikaru told him. "Their beef ramen is the best so I recommend you should have a taste of it."
Kei pulled Hikaru's hand away from him. "Please don’t touch me." he said.
"Are you pissed?" Hikaru asked. "It's just a payback… besides you look cute when you are pissed like that." he added with a smirked on his face. "Anyway… can't you remember this place?" he asked again. "I don't know if Daiki told you but this is the high school we used to go before… this is a ramen house before and the old man was the one doing all the works. Kamura,the guy a while back is just his assistant but now he was the owner. The old man doesn't have a family and so he give everything to Kamura when he died 2 years ago. We are a frequent customer of this place because we really love the food so much… it feels nostalgic."
Kei looks around. He agree to Hikaru but he can't just say it. Everyone knows that he loss his memories of the past and he need to be consistent about it to protect himself. "Then… is this the place you frequently go together with Kota?"
"You know… I don't want to talk about him so can we change the topic?" Hikaru asked him.
"How long are you going to run away?" Kei asked him in whisper but Hikaru didn't bother to reply back. The ramen arrived after a few minutes and they savour the food served for them. Like what Hikaru said the ramen was good and it was Kei's liking. While eating Hikaru talk about his high school experiences. About a teacher who was so strict that when you didn't answer his question right you will stand at the back for the whole period and there was one time that all students cannot answer it and so everyone was at the back. He also talk about his classmates, about their romances, about the sports festival and how exciting it was. About the truck accident that ruined the wall at the southern part of the school. Hikaru was talking about it in a point of view of someone telling stories to a stranger but Kei can remember everything that Hikaru was talking about. He knew everything but he can't say he did.
After eating they walk around the area of the school then a topic suddenly opened. "Hikaru… how did you know me?" Kei asked out of nowhere. "Is it because...Dai-chan told you about me?"
"Well… when I saw you it was like that but as I recall… I think I knew you more before that. You are Kei Inoo, 18 years of age and from class 3-A. You're birthday is June 22 and your blood type is A. You are good at playing piano and also a soccer club member."
"How did you know all that? Am I some sort of a famous individual?" Kei asked jokingly.
"You are not." Hikaru answered. "You are just an ordinary student but I know you very well because… I know someone… who knew everything about you."
"Who?" Kei asked innocently.
Hikaru paused for a moment and he smiled "I forgot."
Hikaru sent Kei to his apartment since it's already late. Just after Kei went out of the car Hikaru and him were laughing about a joke they heard in the radio. Kei said that he already paid what he did and Hiaru agreed to it and so this time they are already quits. Kei went back to his unit but he was surprised to see Kota standing in front of his unit and looking at him. Kei greeted him a good evening but Kota just nodded his head.
"Why are you with Hikaru?" Kota asked him.
"W… we eat together." Kei answered.
"Really? Seems like the two of you are getting closer to each other."
"W… we don't." Kei replied. Kota's voice doesn't sound good and he looks like he was bothered by something. "I just… I did something to him that needs compensation and so I treated him for some food it's just like that and nothing else." he tried to explain though he think that there's no need to do it.
"That's good for you that… you're finally starting to handle the city life… finding friends that you can rely on and maybe someone special to you." Kota told him. "You need to go inside… I'm going to rest as well."
Kei doesn't feel right at all. He doesn't like the way Kota tuned his voice. Is he thinking that he and Hikaru were something close to each other like something intimate? He need to clear the misunderstanding but why? It doesn't matter right? Besides they were not dating nor they were friends… their relationship right now is still vague and Kei can't point it specifically. As he watched Kota turned his back he remembered that moment that the two were kissing each other passionately and then his hand move on its own and grabbed Kota's hand. Kei startled when he felt Kota's hand, it was cold as ice. "Th...There's nothing…. Between me and Hikaru." Kei told him. He knew he didn't need to explain but he didn't want Kota to misunderstand anything. "W...we just eat dinner together a...and that's all."
"You don't need to explain… it doesn’t concern me anyway." Kota said and when Kei heard that he slowly let go of his hand and he just watched Kota's back as he went back to his room.

"That's crap!" Sano shouted on the phone. "I will not tolerate that. How can you do that? They were blaming me… they're accusing me as the betrayer. I am not!" he shouted again. "This is nonsense…" he continued then he end the call and throw it on the bed.
"Sano… who are you talking to?" Ryosuke asked worriedly.
"It's none of your business… I'm going out. I need alcohol in my body." Sano told him.
"And you're going to leave me here?" Ryosuke asked. "Sano… you know that we don't have much time to spend with each other. Both of us were busy with our jobs and activities and times like this are our only opportunity to have quality time and you're just going to go out and drunk yourself? If you want to drink then do it here… I'll accompany you."
"If you want to spend time with me then come with me… I'll drink in a bar."
"You know I can't do that…. It will be troublesome for me if paparazzi will caught me drinking in a bar."
"Then…. Stay here." Sano told him.
Author's Note: I give myself a deadline which i hope i can achieve. I want to finished this fanfic by June since it's the mark of one year of this fanfic since i post the revised version. I will do my best to do it so expect random updates from now on. Anyway i also love to read what are your thoughts regarding this fanfic... do you have any idea who the 'caller' is? Do you want this fic to have a good or a sad ending? What do you think of the story so far? Up to this point, is the story getting confusing, so complicated to understand or just right?
