SUMMARY: Hatred turned to love, silence turned to seeking and lies become truth. Kota just hit the rock bottom making him realize that memories should not remained unlock. He seek for truth, he yearned for what really happened and why things are going this and that. But what if he is going further to what is already near to him? Is everything gone too late to change? Everyone is given curiosity and so will you open the box as well?

Chapter 19
"Drunk"
Kota can't erase on his mind the words that Hikaru and Ryosuke leave him behind after class. It's just the same words as Daiki told him back in the onsen but hearing it for the second time really sink in into his mind that cause him problem and stress. How can they scold him for what he did when he can't see anything wrong with it? He accompanied Yuto going back to the city since he thought that it was dangerous for him to be alone and it's not his fault that Kei went to the lake all alone since he was trying to contact him but he was not answering his phone. Kei said that he leave his cellphone on the room and he was not really mad about what happened coz he can understand but despite that Kei's friend still insisted that he did wrong.
"Let me repeat what Daiki told you that night in the hot spring, Kota, Kei is now your boyfriend and not that Yuto anymore. You should know how to sort out your priority." Hikaru told him this afternoon."You worry about Yuto but how about Kei-chan huh? Just easy to leave him all alone waiting for you in that cold night?"
"I called him. I tried to contact him but…"Kota defended himself. "Besides he was not alone that time. It was not only our plan to go there and watched the fireflies. The campers and the children planned to watch it as well and so he was not all alone not like Yuto who will go back by himself. I am just worried to my childhood friend."
"Despite that we hate the fact that you just choose Nakajima over him. Kei is our precious friend and we just care about him." Ryosuke added.
"What's wrong with you all? Alright fine… it's my fault. But Yuto is an important person to me as well. I can't just leave him all alone traveling in the middle of the night without company. You know how dangerous the area is." Kota explained himself because he think it was unfair that he was being judge by those two without knowing the true reason behind his actions and he don't get the fact why they are being mad at him and it really irritates him.
"You said it… the area was dangerous and you let Kei all alone that night." Hikaru pointed out.
Kota slammed his bag on the floor when his mother came in and saw what he just did. "What's your problem?" she asked him.
"Nothing." he lied. "What do you need from me?"
"Your teacher called me and he said that you passed a blank assessment paper. Kou, it's the time for entrance examination for universities and you didn't have decided yet? If you can't do it then I'll help you." Suzanne said as she sit down besides him in the bed. "I always dream of you being an architecture… what do you think. I think it suits your abilities."
Kota sighed, stand up and take off his necktie and unbutton his uniform. "I am not in the mood for this to talk about this. Please leave me alone mom."
"But Kou we need to talk about your future. You must not be acting so carefree. It's time for you to start thinking of what you should do as your future career." Suzanne told him as her eyes keeps on traveling inside Kota's room.
"Someone who don't have a past will have a future? I only have the present within my hand." Kota replied to her but he really didn't meant to say that intently. His mind was just full of problems that he can't think of anything to say and since he was just too bored to talk to her he just spit it out whatever comes first to his mind.
Suzanne stand up from the bed and then she walk towards his study table. "Don't talk like that. That's the reason I am here to help you think about it. I am your mother Kou, who else will best suited to help you in this kind of stuffs."
"Do you want to know why it was blank? It's because I wanted it to be music but then I know you will desperately disagree with it and so I didn’t put it on." Kota revealed. "You knew I always like it and I knew that you will just scold me for liking it. If you are my mother you should know better where I am really good at. If I can't get music then it's better if I don't go to university. I'll just work and then be independent and leave this house."
"Kou…you can't do that. Besides… where can music bring you? It's a cheap job that plays the game of uncertainty. You will not know what will happen to you. It was not stable, it doesn't pay well specially if you are just low rated. If you build a career then you should do something that will guarantee your future. I am just saying things that you should do and I know will make you successful."
Kota sighed . He knew that the conversation was pointless since Suzanne will just push what she believed and she will never listen to what he want. "I'm tired… please go." he told her.
Suzanne sighed and then crossed her arm under her chest. "Alright… but I'll still talk to you about this." she warned him until she finally gone out of his room.

Daiki was on his way back home after club activity. He felt so tired and dirty because the smell of the colors stuck on him. He wanted to reached home and take a bath immediately to get rid of the smell. Just a few meters away from his house, he saw Hikaru and Miyuki in front of the gate of the Yaotome residence. Because of shocked he hide himself suddenly without knowing the reason behind. He sneaked a look, wondering what the two are doing. He can't believe that the two entered a relationship where they knew each other's address. It's the first time that Hikaru brought a girl with him in his own place. He continued watching and observing them. At first it's just a chats and talking about a topic that he can't hear. Miyuki laughed so girly while Hikaru laugh as well but his contacts didn't leave her face.
It's not easy to see them together, it just pierce his heart and the more he observed them the more he can painfully feel how hard it was to love someone who was looking lovingly to someone else. He decided to just leave them alone but when he was about to turned back, Miyuki suddenly kissed Hikaru on his lips.
Daiki just stayed there speechless. It seems like the whole world turned against him and the mirror that reflects himself broke into pieces. Miyuki leave after a minute and Hikaru just wave his hand towards her. When she was finally gone, Hikaru touched his lips like he can't believe his first kiss was stolen by someone else already.
"I didn't know you already knew how to be so bold." Daiki told him.
Hikaru jolted when he heard Daiki said that. He immediately hide his hand that was touching his lips. "Wh..What do you mean?" he asked.
"Acting innocent? I just saw it… you did you first kiss." Daiki told him. "That was Miyuki right? I didn't know that the two of you still have contact with each other after we got separated from the onsen and you even reached the phase where you go to each other's house."
"I..it's not like that. I just saw her in my way here and she said that she have some business around this area and so… I kinda told her where I live." Hikaru explained himself. "Bu… but there is nothing more than that. Also that kiss… i… I caught me off guard. I didn't know that she will going to kiss me."
"But you like it… I saw you… touching softly your lips." Daiki teased and he even demonstrate what he saw Hikaru did. "How does it feel? Nice? Heaven?"
"Stop teasing me already. It's not like I really like it."
"You liar." Daiki told him instantly. "You don't need to lie on me. You like her right? It's obvious with your sparkling glittering eyes. It didn't leave her face and it's irritating actually."
"I didn't like her."
"Not her."
"Huh?"
"I'm telling you… if you want to have a girlfriend then… not her."
"Because you like her too?" Hikaru asked him back making Daiki shocked.
"Huh? Where did that come all of a sudden? What made you think I like her? Hikaru I'm gay…"
"Well… you just showed obvious jealousy in your actions. Like what happened when we are walking in the forest and then in the cafeteria. Well it's true that you are gay but then… who knows… you are still a guy. But you are acting like a grumpy old man now, the way you talk to me. You think that I am your rival because Miyuki choose me over you? You like her and you don't want me to have her."
"Are you retard?"
"I am not… and I am just stating the obvious." Hikaru answered back. He doesn’t want to continue the conversation anymore and so he went inside his house leaving Daiki all alone outside.
"You idiot Hikaru! Die already!" Daiki shouted and he also went inside his house and went straight to his room where he release his frustration by punching his pillows so many times.

Ryosuke cannot sleep since that day after the onsen trip. Yuya's voice kept on repeating on his mind, repeating same set of words that touches his heart. How long did he waited for Yuya to say such sweet words to him. He wanted to be happy about it but then he just remembered what those girls said that time. It will ruined Yuya's image if his fans found out that he is a homo. Because of the boost of his popularity being a model, he have acquired more admirers and the battle just got fierce and he felt like he didn't want to gamble anymore besides he already told him that he will stop his feelings for him and he need to concentrate on his future life than thinking about romance and the like.
Knowing that he was that little boy he met when he was young, he felt that everything was created by fate. He really don't have any idea that Yuya is that boy and then he turned to be a bully and they became friends and then he became the apple of his eye and then they became enemies and now they are back on entering the circle again but now it was Yuya who was chasing after him.
He opened his locker to change his shoes when a small envelop falls down as he opened the door. He picked it up and opened it immediately since it was address to him. He read the letter and he was shocked with what he just saw.
DIE!
Ryosuke's eyes open wide as he can feel fear all over the part of his body. It was like an electricity that cross over every vital parts of his body making him numbed and petrified. He never received a threatening letter since then and it just trigger his old scary past. He was standing there just looking at the letter when he heard the student as his back talking about Torio coming back to school after being suspended because of what he did to Chihiro. His heart was pounding, scared of what will happen.
Th…there's no way it was Torio right? No one revealed that it was me who told the teacher the truth so… it's impossible that he will… do something to me right?
Ryosuke's heart was about to jumped out of his chest when he felt a hand tap his shoulder and when he look back it was Yuya who was staring at him. "Congratulation, you pass your entrance examination." he greeted but then when he noticed the expression on Ryosuke's face the smile suddenly vanished. "Are you alright? Did I surprised you?"
"N…no." Ryosuke whimpered as he crumpled the paper at his back. "Ho…how did you know?"
"It was posted in the bulletin board." Yuya answered. "Are you sure you are okay?"
"I…I'm fine." Ryosuke answered in panic. He locked his locker and said that he will also look at the result.

Everyone toss their drinks up high as they celebrate Ryosuke's passing on T. University. His name was included in the list of passers that are posted in the bulletin board of their school. Yuya, Hikaru, Kei and Kota came to celebrate with him in the Salt and Pepper Restaurant. They go there thinking that they will met Daiki and he can joined them in the celebration but to their disappointment he was not around. Hikaru tried to contact his number but he was not answering at all and also with the other messages. Daiki's father assisted them to their orders and so Hikaru used the opportunity to asked where Daiki is.
"He said that he have a party to go to." Daiki's father answered. "I think every member of his arts club were there." he continued and then he put a large parfait in in front of Ryosuke. "This is a gift for me Ryo for doing your best. I am really proud of you."
"Thank you, sir." Ryosuke said.
"Wow, that's one large parfait. Uncle… if we passed our exam too will you give us that big special parfait?" Hikaru asked him.
"If you will pass." he said plus with a deep loud laugh. After that, he excused himself and went back to the kitchen area.
"It seems like I knew where Daiki get his attitude." Kota said.
"Like father like son." Kei agreed. "It's bad that Dai-chan is not here but we can't help it. His in different school as us, different schedule and he already have new friends. It is really hard to make our schedules connect to each other."
"Despite that I don't think he will forget about us. I know he will do that." Hikaru said confidently.
"Of course we know about that." Yuya agreed.

The arts club have a celebration for a great exhibit that they have done in their school and also to congratulate the winners. They went to a bar where they dance and sing and drink to their enjoyment. Of course Daiki is not an exemption to that since he is a party boy from the very beginning. They were not the only party people in the club and while observing the place he noticed someone familiar. It was Miyuki together with her friends Minako and Tsubumi and they are talking to boys who seems like hitting on them.
While looking at her face he remembered that night that she and Hikaru kissed each other and that just made his blood boil. One guy approached her and then she smiled like she was seducing him. The two dance in the dance floor and she was so flirty that he wanted to push her away. He knew that she was not a nice goody girl from the very beginning that's the reason he said those words to Hikaru that if he wanted to have a girlfriend then never choose her but Hikaru misunderstand it and it ended up to a quarrel to the two of them. He was so frustrated that night that he even erased his number on his contacts. After dancing, Miyuki goes back to her friends and they looked so happy and drank.
"I thought you like that Yaotome guy in onsen." Minako asked her.
"What are you talking about… I am just playing with him. You know he is close to Yuya and so…" Miyuki said smirking.
"Bad girl Miyuki… very bad girl." Tsubumi chuckled and the other two follows.
I told you Hikaru… this girl is a bitch.
The three girls kept on talking when they decided to dance again. As Miyuki walked she falls down hitting her face on the floor making all the dancers and singers stop and stare at her. Minako and Tsubumi immediately help her to stand up and her nose was bleeding. "What the hell is this… someone trip me." she shouted as she glared at everyone around her. "Who the hell is that shit? Face me!" she challenged while there her nose have blood on it.
"Miyuki, let's go… you're bleeding." Minako said. She grabbed her right hand while Tsubumi grabbed her left hand. Miyuki still look at everyone and then she saw a familiar face among the crowd. It was Daiki who was standing so coolly while holding a drink on his hand. Daiki just smirked and then leave. "Him?" she said but her two friends pulled her away because everyone was staring at them already and they didn't want it.
Daiki went back to their table where Yuto, Roa and Linda approached him. They confirm if it was the girl that they met in the hot spring and Daiki just nodded his head. The party continued as well as Daiki's party life. He drink and drink like he doesn't care if he gets drunk. He was enjoying the moment that he proved to himself that that Miyuki is nothing but a bitch and Hikaru just prove his name as Stupid Hikaru.
After a few minutes Daiki stand up on one of the table and then raised his glass. “Everyone” he shouted to call everyone’s attention. “We third years are going to graduate soon.” He continued as he hiccup a little and he just laugh at it. “We are hoping that you will do great for our arts club JUNIORS!”
“Yeah!!!” everyone shouted.
Roa approached Yuto who was sitting already since he was tired. “Yuto I think Daiki was already drunk. He should be sent home already.”
“I don’t know where he is lives though, you know?” Yuto answered.
“I don't.” Roa said. She approached Linda and the other third years and asked if they knew where Daiki lives but no one knows. “I guess we just call some of his friends. I'll just borrow his phone." she said. She went to where Daiki's bag is and he saw his phone in there. She scanned for Hikaru's number, who she knew is his best friend and knows everything about him, but his number was not there. Roa went back to Yuto and told him what she just discovered. "Yuto, Hikaru's number was not on his phone."
“Why? Did he delete his number?” Yuto asked as he checked the cellphone on his own but there is no Hikaru who is on his phonebook. "I’ll just call someone else. Roa, take a look for him while I am making a call."
“Okay leave this to me."
Yuto scanned the contacts again searching for a reliable person that he can call to and there is only one person that comes to his mind. He scroll down and finally saw his contact. He think for a moment before he click the call button and it was answered immediately. “Kei… this is Yuto.”
“Yu…Yuto?” Kei answered back. “wh….why are you using Daiki’s number?”
“Can you contact Hikaru for me?” Yuto asked. “Daiki was drunk right now and we didn’t know where he lives. We check his phone but HIkaru’s number was already deleted and it’s only you who I knew on his contacts.”
“Where are you right now?”
“Naaru…” Yuto replied.
“Alright, I’m going to tell him. please look after Daiki for a while.” Kei said.
Yuto ended the call and then went back to join Roa in looking after Daiki who still wanted to drink but he was already at his limit. They let him lay on the couch and rest while waiting for Hikaru to arrived. After 15 minutes Hikaru entered the bar and Yuto signaled him to their direction. He saw Daiki who was soundly sleeping despite of the noisy surrounding. Roa, Yuto and Hikaru help Daiki to get out of the club. Hikaru piggy back Daiki and then wear Daiki's bag through his neck.
"Are you sure you don't need help in bringing him home?" Yuto asked him.
"It's alright I can take care of him and also both of you smell like alcohol already so better go home as well." Hikaru told the two. They went back inside the club and Hikaru started to walk. He can smell the alcohol and cigarette on Daiki's body and he didn't like it. He never tried going on a club before and that is his first time and he already didn't want it on his first impression. He knew that Daiki went to that kind of place but this is the first time that he got drunk so much that he can't stand on his own.
Hikaru was walking slowly since Daiki was heavy and he keeps on moving making it hard for him to balance himself. He was glad that Naaru is just a walking distance from their house and it is just easy to bring him home. He heard Daiki moaned and moved his head that was leaning on his shoulder “Are you awake?” Hikaru asked trying to know if he is since he moved. Daiki moved again and then he slowly opened his eyes. He looked in front of him and noticed that he was lifted by someone he can't distinguish.
“Who are you? are… are you kidnapping me?” Daiki asked in whisper.
“Are you an idiot… it’s me HIkaru… Hikaru.”
Daiki moved as he heard HIkaru’s name and that movement almost made HIkaru loss his balance because of shocked but he was glad that he was able to control his balance and the two of them didn’t fall down. “Put me down…”
“Huh? You are too drunk to walk… I’ll bring you home like this.”
“Stupid HIkaru… put me down!” he shouted again as he pulled Hikaru's hair like a child because of that he have no choice but to put him down.
“Then what? Are you planning to walk on your own?" Hikaru asked Daiki who was staggering by just standing on the ground. "I told you, you can't do it… come here… I'll piggy back you."
"Want to know something interesting?" Daiki asked him. "I saw Miyuki in the bar, she was wearing a red sexy dress and talking so flirty to a guy who was hitting on her. She just kiss him without any doubt… it's like that time that he kiss you in front of your own house…"
Hikaru was silent for a moment and then he sighed. "I knew. I knew she was not a goody lady. I mean its obvious that she is not that gentle type girl. But… despite that you like her right? I don't want you to hit her and so… and so…"
"I didn't like her." Daiki answered him back. "Never in my life I will like such kind of girl."
"If you don't like her then what is the meaning of those actions that you do in the onsen? I don't understand and then… after that you avoided me already. You didn't answer my messages and when we cross each other's path you don't even bother to say hi to me. What am I to you invisible?"
"Yeah… I want you to become invisible in my life."
"Huh? You're drunk Daiki… let's go back home. Let's talk when you sober already." Hikaru tried to pull Daiki near him but the latter just shoved him away and then he walk in a staggering manner and then he vomit in the corner and he don’t' stop from hiccupping. Hikaru sighed as he approach him again and grab his hand to help him stand up straight.
"Don't touch me!" Daiki shouted on him.
"Daiki…" he called but Daiki just continue walking and walking until he loss his balance and falls down. Hikaru approached him and then he noticed that he was sobbing. He stop for a moment and then he slowly walk towards him again. "Hey… why are you crying? Are you hurt?"
"Yeah I am… I am wounded… deep inside my chest." Daiki replied. "I’m crying because it hurts… hurts so much that I wanted to get my heart out of my chest and then throw it away so that I can't feel this way anymore."
"You're talking nonsense… come on. Let's go back home."
“I am trying my best…” Daiki started. Hikaru sighed and he just let Daiki talk thinking that he will be exhausted soon.
“On what?”
“I am trying my best to forget about you.” Daiki said as he pointed on Hikaru.
“Wh..what?” Hikaru asked surprisingly.
“I kept every picture of us in a box, every gift that you give me was lock in that box and I even deleted your number and I try my best to avoid you as much as possible. I dated guys, I dated lots of people so that I can forget about you but I just keep on tracking same circle all over again. I tried to avoid you but then I just realized I am back to the starting line again."
“I can’t understand what are you talking about? Why are you doing all those stuffs? Why are you avoiding me so much?"
“Coz I love you.” Daiki confessed. Hikaru was stunned. "That's the answer to everything. Why I am so jealous in the onsen, why I wanted to avoid you, why I hated you the most because you just treat me as a freaking best friend. I always wanted to be more than that…" he continued as tears start to falls from his eyes and he tried to stand up. "I am so stupid loving a stupid person like you. This stupid feeling…" he whispered as he walk again on his own but for the second time he falls down again.
Hikaru approached him again and now he was sleeping already but still tears are flowing from his eyes. Hikaru didn't know what to react on what Daiki told him. He was not sure if he said those words because he is just drunk or it is what he really felt. He lifted him up on his bag again and they together walk back home.

He decided to just leave them alone but when he was about to turned back, Miyuki suddenly kissed Hikaru on his lips.
Daiki just stayed there speechless. It seems like the whole world turned against him and the mirror that reflects himself broke into pieces. Miyuki leave after a minute and Hikaru just wave his hand towards her. When she was finally gone, Hikaru touched his lips like he can't believe his first kiss was stolen by someone else already.
"I didn't know you already knew how to be so bold." Daiki told him.
Hikaru jolted when he heard Daiki said that. He immediately hide his hand that was touching his lips. "Wh..What do you mean?" he asked.
"Acting innocent? I just saw it… you did you first kiss." Daiki told him. "That was Miyuki right? I didn't know that the two of you still have contact with each other after we got separated from the onsen and you even reached the phase where you go to each other's house."
"I..it's not like that. I just saw her in my way here and she said that she have some business around this area and so… I kinda told her where I live." Hikaru explained himself. "Bu… but there is nothing more than that. Also that kiss… i… I caught me off guard. I didn't know that she will going to kiss me."
"But you like it… I saw you… touching softly your lips." Daiki teased and he even demonstrate what he saw Hikaru did. "How does it feel? Nice? Heaven?"
"Stop teasing me already. It's not like I really like it."
"You liar." Daiki told him instantly. "You don't need to lie on me. You like her right? It's obvious with your sparkling glittering eyes. It didn't leave her face and it's irritating actually."
"I didn't like her."
"Not her."
"Huh?"
"I'm telling you… if you want to have a girlfriend then… not her."
"Because you like her too?" Hikaru asked him back making Daiki shocked.
"Huh? Where did that come all of a sudden? What made you think I like her? Hikaru I'm gay…"
"Well… you just showed obvious jealousy in your actions. Like what happened when we are walking in the forest and then in the cafeteria. Well it's true that you are gay but then… who knows… you are still a guy. But you are acting like a grumpy old man now, the way you talk to me. You think that I am your rival because Miyuki choose me over you? You like her and you don't want me to have her."
"Are you retard?"
"I am not… and I am just stating the obvious." Hikaru answered back. He doesn’t want to continue the conversation anymore and so he went inside his house leaving Daiki all alone outside.
"You idiot Hikaru! Die already!" Daiki shouted and he also went inside his house and went straight to his room where he release his frustration by punching his pillows so many times.

Ryosuke cannot sleep since that day after the onsen trip. Yuya's voice kept on repeating on his mind, repeating same set of words that touches his heart. How long did he waited for Yuya to say such sweet words to him. He wanted to be happy about it but then he just remembered what those girls said that time. It will ruined Yuya's image if his fans found out that he is a homo. Because of the boost of his popularity being a model, he have acquired more admirers and the battle just got fierce and he felt like he didn't want to gamble anymore besides he already told him that he will stop his feelings for him and he need to concentrate on his future life than thinking about romance and the like.
Knowing that he was that little boy he met when he was young, he felt that everything was created by fate. He really don't have any idea that Yuya is that boy and then he turned to be a bully and they became friends and then he became the apple of his eye and then they became enemies and now they are back on entering the circle again but now it was Yuya who was chasing after him.
He opened his locker to change his shoes when a small envelop falls down as he opened the door. He picked it up and opened it immediately since it was address to him. He read the letter and he was shocked with what he just saw.

Ryosuke's eyes open wide as he can feel fear all over the part of his body. It was like an electricity that cross over every vital parts of his body making him numbed and petrified. He never received a threatening letter since then and it just trigger his old scary past. He was standing there just looking at the letter when he heard the student as his back talking about Torio coming back to school after being suspended because of what he did to Chihiro. His heart was pounding, scared of what will happen.
Th…there's no way it was Torio right? No one revealed that it was me who told the teacher the truth so… it's impossible that he will… do something to me right?
Ryosuke's heart was about to jumped out of his chest when he felt a hand tap his shoulder and when he look back it was Yuya who was staring at him. "Congratulation, you pass your entrance examination." he greeted but then when he noticed the expression on Ryosuke's face the smile suddenly vanished. "Are you alright? Did I surprised you?"
"N…no." Ryosuke whimpered as he crumpled the paper at his back. "Ho…how did you know?"
"It was posted in the bulletin board." Yuya answered. "Are you sure you are okay?"
"I…I'm fine." Ryosuke answered in panic. He locked his locker and said that he will also look at the result.

Everyone toss their drinks up high as they celebrate Ryosuke's passing on T. University. His name was included in the list of passers that are posted in the bulletin board of their school. Yuya, Hikaru, Kei and Kota came to celebrate with him in the Salt and Pepper Restaurant. They go there thinking that they will met Daiki and he can joined them in the celebration but to their disappointment he was not around. Hikaru tried to contact his number but he was not answering at all and also with the other messages. Daiki's father assisted them to their orders and so Hikaru used the opportunity to asked where Daiki is.
"He said that he have a party to go to." Daiki's father answered. "I think every member of his arts club were there." he continued and then he put a large parfait in in front of Ryosuke. "This is a gift for me Ryo for doing your best. I am really proud of you."
"Thank you, sir." Ryosuke said.
"Wow, that's one large parfait. Uncle… if we passed our exam too will you give us that big special parfait?" Hikaru asked him.
"If you will pass." he said plus with a deep loud laugh. After that, he excused himself and went back to the kitchen area.
"It seems like I knew where Daiki get his attitude." Kota said.
"Like father like son." Kei agreed. "It's bad that Dai-chan is not here but we can't help it. His in different school as us, different schedule and he already have new friends. It is really hard to make our schedules connect to each other."
"Despite that I don't think he will forget about us. I know he will do that." Hikaru said confidently.
"Of course we know about that." Yuya agreed.

The arts club have a celebration for a great exhibit that they have done in their school and also to congratulate the winners. They went to a bar where they dance and sing and drink to their enjoyment. Of course Daiki is not an exemption to that since he is a party boy from the very beginning. They were not the only party people in the club and while observing the place he noticed someone familiar. It was Miyuki together with her friends Minako and Tsubumi and they are talking to boys who seems like hitting on them.
While looking at her face he remembered that night that she and Hikaru kissed each other and that just made his blood boil. One guy approached her and then she smiled like she was seducing him. The two dance in the dance floor and she was so flirty that he wanted to push her away. He knew that she was not a nice goody girl from the very beginning that's the reason he said those words to Hikaru that if he wanted to have a girlfriend then never choose her but Hikaru misunderstand it and it ended up to a quarrel to the two of them. He was so frustrated that night that he even erased his number on his contacts. After dancing, Miyuki goes back to her friends and they looked so happy and drank.
"I thought you like that Yaotome guy in onsen." Minako asked her.
"What are you talking about… I am just playing with him. You know he is close to Yuya and so…" Miyuki said smirking.
"Bad girl Miyuki… very bad girl." Tsubumi chuckled and the other two follows.
I told you Hikaru… this girl is a bitch.
The three girls kept on talking when they decided to dance again. As Miyuki walked she falls down hitting her face on the floor making all the dancers and singers stop and stare at her. Minako and Tsubumi immediately help her to stand up and her nose was bleeding. "What the hell is this… someone trip me." she shouted as she glared at everyone around her. "Who the hell is that shit? Face me!" she challenged while there her nose have blood on it.
"Miyuki, let's go… you're bleeding." Minako said. She grabbed her right hand while Tsubumi grabbed her left hand. Miyuki still look at everyone and then she saw a familiar face among the crowd. It was Daiki who was standing so coolly while holding a drink on his hand. Daiki just smirked and then leave. "Him?" she said but her two friends pulled her away because everyone was staring at them already and they didn't want it.
Daiki went back to their table where Yuto, Roa and Linda approached him. They confirm if it was the girl that they met in the hot spring and Daiki just nodded his head. The party continued as well as Daiki's party life. He drink and drink like he doesn't care if he gets drunk. He was enjoying the moment that he proved to himself that that Miyuki is nothing but a bitch and Hikaru just prove his name as Stupid Hikaru.
After a few minutes Daiki stand up on one of the table and then raised his glass. “Everyone” he shouted to call everyone’s attention. “We third years are going to graduate soon.” He continued as he hiccup a little and he just laugh at it. “We are hoping that you will do great for our arts club JUNIORS!”
“Yeah!!!” everyone shouted.
Roa approached Yuto who was sitting already since he was tired. “Yuto I think Daiki was already drunk. He should be sent home already.”
“I don’t know where he is lives though, you know?” Yuto answered.
“I don't.” Roa said. She approached Linda and the other third years and asked if they knew where Daiki lives but no one knows. “I guess we just call some of his friends. I'll just borrow his phone." she said. She went to where Daiki's bag is and he saw his phone in there. She scanned for Hikaru's number, who she knew is his best friend and knows everything about him, but his number was not there. Roa went back to Yuto and told him what she just discovered. "Yuto, Hikaru's number was not on his phone."
“Why? Did he delete his number?” Yuto asked as he checked the cellphone on his own but there is no Hikaru who is on his phonebook. "I’ll just call someone else. Roa, take a look for him while I am making a call."
“Okay leave this to me."
Yuto scanned the contacts again searching for a reliable person that he can call to and there is only one person that comes to his mind. He scroll down and finally saw his contact. He think for a moment before he click the call button and it was answered immediately. “Kei… this is Yuto.”
“Yu…Yuto?” Kei answered back. “wh….why are you using Daiki’s number?”
“Can you contact Hikaru for me?” Yuto asked. “Daiki was drunk right now and we didn’t know where he lives. We check his phone but HIkaru’s number was already deleted and it’s only you who I knew on his contacts.”
“Where are you right now?”
“Naaru…” Yuto replied.
“Alright, I’m going to tell him. please look after Daiki for a while.” Kei said.
Yuto ended the call and then went back to join Roa in looking after Daiki who still wanted to drink but he was already at his limit. They let him lay on the couch and rest while waiting for Hikaru to arrived. After 15 minutes Hikaru entered the bar and Yuto signaled him to their direction. He saw Daiki who was soundly sleeping despite of the noisy surrounding. Roa, Yuto and Hikaru help Daiki to get out of the club. Hikaru piggy back Daiki and then wear Daiki's bag through his neck.
"Are you sure you don't need help in bringing him home?" Yuto asked him.
"It's alright I can take care of him and also both of you smell like alcohol already so better go home as well." Hikaru told the two. They went back inside the club and Hikaru started to walk. He can smell the alcohol and cigarette on Daiki's body and he didn't like it. He never tried going on a club before and that is his first time and he already didn't want it on his first impression. He knew that Daiki went to that kind of place but this is the first time that he got drunk so much that he can't stand on his own.
Hikaru was walking slowly since Daiki was heavy and he keeps on moving making it hard for him to balance himself. He was glad that Naaru is just a walking distance from their house and it is just easy to bring him home. He heard Daiki moaned and moved his head that was leaning on his shoulder “Are you awake?” Hikaru asked trying to know if he is since he moved. Daiki moved again and then he slowly opened his eyes. He looked in front of him and noticed that he was lifted by someone he can't distinguish.
“Who are you? are… are you kidnapping me?” Daiki asked in whisper.
“Are you an idiot… it’s me HIkaru… Hikaru.”
Daiki moved as he heard HIkaru’s name and that movement almost made HIkaru loss his balance because of shocked but he was glad that he was able to control his balance and the two of them didn’t fall down. “Put me down…”
“Huh? You are too drunk to walk… I’ll bring you home like this.”
“Stupid HIkaru… put me down!” he shouted again as he pulled Hikaru's hair like a child because of that he have no choice but to put him down.
“Then what? Are you planning to walk on your own?" Hikaru asked Daiki who was staggering by just standing on the ground. "I told you, you can't do it… come here… I'll piggy back you."
"Want to know something interesting?" Daiki asked him. "I saw Miyuki in the bar, she was wearing a red sexy dress and talking so flirty to a guy who was hitting on her. She just kiss him without any doubt… it's like that time that he kiss you in front of your own house…"
Hikaru was silent for a moment and then he sighed. "I knew. I knew she was not a goody lady. I mean its obvious that she is not that gentle type girl. But… despite that you like her right? I don't want you to hit her and so… and so…"
"I didn't like her." Daiki answered him back. "Never in my life I will like such kind of girl."
"If you don't like her then what is the meaning of those actions that you do in the onsen? I don't understand and then… after that you avoided me already. You didn't answer my messages and when we cross each other's path you don't even bother to say hi to me. What am I to you invisible?"
"Yeah… I want you to become invisible in my life."
"Huh? You're drunk Daiki… let's go back home. Let's talk when you sober already." Hikaru tried to pull Daiki near him but the latter just shoved him away and then he walk in a staggering manner and then he vomit in the corner and he don’t' stop from hiccupping. Hikaru sighed as he approach him again and grab his hand to help him stand up straight.
"Don't touch me!" Daiki shouted on him.
"Daiki…" he called but Daiki just continue walking and walking until he loss his balance and falls down. Hikaru approached him and then he noticed that he was sobbing. He stop for a moment and then he slowly walk towards him again. "Hey… why are you crying? Are you hurt?"
"Yeah I am… I am wounded… deep inside my chest." Daiki replied. "I’m crying because it hurts… hurts so much that I wanted to get my heart out of my chest and then throw it away so that I can't feel this way anymore."
"You're talking nonsense… come on. Let's go back home."
“I am trying my best…” Daiki started. Hikaru sighed and he just let Daiki talk thinking that he will be exhausted soon.
“On what?”
“I am trying my best to forget about you.” Daiki said as he pointed on Hikaru.
“Wh..what?” Hikaru asked surprisingly.
“I kept every picture of us in a box, every gift that you give me was lock in that box and I even deleted your number and I try my best to avoid you as much as possible. I dated guys, I dated lots of people so that I can forget about you but I just keep on tracking same circle all over again. I tried to avoid you but then I just realized I am back to the starting line again."
“I can’t understand what are you talking about? Why are you doing all those stuffs? Why are you avoiding me so much?"
“Coz I love you.” Daiki confessed. Hikaru was stunned. "That's the answer to everything. Why I am so jealous in the onsen, why I wanted to avoid you, why I hated you the most because you just treat me as a freaking best friend. I always wanted to be more than that…" he continued as tears start to falls from his eyes and he tried to stand up. "I am so stupid loving a stupid person like you. This stupid feeling…" he whispered as he walk again on his own but for the second time he falls down again.
Hikaru approached him again and now he was sleeping already but still tears are flowing from his eyes. Hikaru didn't know what to react on what Daiki told him. He was not sure if he said those words because he is just drunk or it is what he really felt. He lifted him up on his bag again and they together walk back home.
