My Monday is starting off great as Kai is in the kitchen making pancakes for us!! Yesterday was fabulous as we went to the Eastern Market and had a blast walking around, looking at stuff and meeting random people. Small problem of my chucking all my food when we got home but I seem to be fine now.
mmmm Kai pancakes i'm so glad that you're able to visit and i'm so jeaaaaalous. i would LOVE to be down there with you guys. particularly because you keep getting to do nifty things and have fantastic food.
my Monday...has certainly started off quite well. *^____^* my stomach is whining though, it's hungry. i think once Rob is out of the shower we're going to eat and then we're going pumpkin shopping :D i wanna carve a pumpkin, i haven't gotten to in yeaaars. and since our roommate is in the hospital (again :/) we've had the place to ourselves for about a week now and i wanna carve a pumpkin while she's gone so i have time to clean up.
Pumpkin craving is my favourite Fall activity!! I'm planning on inviting some friends over later in the month and doing a bunch as I have a massive porch with nothing on it. :)
My Monday has been crazy. I was taken from Dublin to Waterford in a Benz, which is a 2.5 hour drive. As you can guess, the Irish countryside is gorgeous. Lots of sheep. And cows. I just have a Japanese etiquette presentation to about 30 people. The hotel I am staying at in Waterford is awesome and I have to send pictures.
Yesterday I walked all around Dublin with the interpreters. We went to Trinity College, a park thingy, Dublin Castle and (of course) the Guinness brewery. I bought a new rugby ball. By the time I got back to the hotel last night I was so tired and jet-lagged that I could barely stand. Mary Poppins was on TV and I watched it until I fell asleep...but then I woke up at 11:30 and couldn't sleep. Silly jet lag.
that's sooooooo cool though. i haven't been to Ireland in years. geez, a Benz? what are you, some sort of really cool important person? ...oh yeaaaah. you are, aren't you. ^^ (to your company, silly, you know you are to me) btw, i would've totally beaten up the people that told you no piercings for the surgery. please please post pictures. i wish i had known you were going there, i would've grabbed money to have you get really pretty things. waterford crystal pretties. *^_^* (you're going to rock your presentation, btw)
i worked all weekend. so, sold coffee, brewed coffee, steamed milk, all that jazz. talked alot of politics at home, watched the Pats game yesterday ;_;, made honey teriyaki chicken and rice for dinner (totally yummies). oh, i bought a wok recently! can't wait to have you over again. need to feed you. *^_^* that and we can do some meditation stuff. and i can (hopefully) show off a new pumpkin. :D
