Well, this would be a great thesis...if it were in any way, shape, or form correct. I might have given Pepsi Max a try, because I'm a caffiene freak. Now I won't go anywhere near it, so, no, not all advertising is good advertising. Or do you think that Mattel is currently doing all of the "PLEASE DON'T HATE US" spots because they just have spare money to burn?

You want to do something about it? Go create some heinous journals with the Pepsi branding you've been authorized to use, and send the link back to Pepsi.

And that's why I think that the troll journals doing just that are hysterical, even more so because otherwise reasonable people actually think that they're real.

It depends on the dilemma. Selling dangerous toys is something to kiss the public's ass over.

The Pepsi MAX meme is far different. You're just a vocal minority among a sea of apathetic bloggers. A handful of angry dissenters is well worth the expansive audience they're getting.

They're also seasoned in coping with anti-ad angst, so this won't phase them.

I joined this community because I wanted to offer my support to fighting Warriors for Innocence, not so I could hear whining about how awful LJ is for getting advertising and conspiracy theories.
