EDIT: The number of these 'gifts' is a bit too large to be a random occurance. Planned attack, anyone?

EDIT 2: Community's back to moderated posting and membership. Don't we all love maturity in opposition?

TOS trumps FAQ.

The TOS is the thing that you agree to. FAQs are nifty little things, but aren't part of any agreement.

TOS, FAQ, doesn't matter. What matters is that 6A made a documented promise not to let paid and perm accounts be infested with ads, which they broke with the form of 'sponsored' ads that they're calling free 'gifts'. The demonstration of them being used to spam other users and comms only proves what a stupid idea it was to give out something people really disliked for free.

If 6A has a right to break promises as a company then their customers should have a right to complain, or no longer use the service.

Nobody's stopping anyone from complaining or leaving.

And yes, legally, the TOS and the FAQ are two completely different things. One you agree to. The other one you don't.
