EDIT: The number of these 'gifts' is a bit too large to be a random occurance. Planned attack, anyone?

EDIT 2: Community's back to moderated posting and membership. Don't we all love maturity in opposition?

...isn't there a way to delete that? I mean, it'll be an issue of privacy soon enough and LJ will have to swoop in with cease-and-desist.

Most of the LJ staffers are buried in an avalanche of Pepsi, and unless they want to remain that way, they'll have to come up with something.

I meant idiots, though 'imbeciles' could be a better term.

...because wanting privacy makes me want to bomb buildings and kill people? I don't know what logic ship you're sailing on, but for love of all humanity jump off it.

Someone needs a brain in a jar, methinks.

Well, considering you're advertising your brainweight quite openly, I'd say you're in need of one.

You're really a darling troll, but failing.

Probably not. They only wrote the code that makes ban_set bans block vgifts on Friday; I doubt it's been rolled out yet.

Does this work? http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=260 "You can remove a Virtual Gift from your User Profile page earlier by clicking the gift and selecting the Remove Gift button in the lower right-hand corner."
