This almost makes me want to watch New Girl! I watched a bit of the first episode, and it just wasn't my thing.

You have Emerson down cold! The voice is right, and I nearly choked when Nick started telling him about his idea.

Oh, you should! The pilot and the first few eps are fine, but they give pretty much no indication of how great the show would become - it's really remarkable how well the show handles both friendships and romances, and how much depth these characters have.

I'm so glad you liked my Emerson! I miss him so much!
