Oh, I'm so pleased! I hoped I was honoring the spirit of your request by making this romance-free; as awesome as Matt is, Julie dances for herself.

And that line about her mother wasting money on her - that was right out of my childhood, with my mom who was determined that I would have all sorts of chances she never got.
