Oh! *big blissful smile* I have mad, mad love for this story! All the details of how Sam thinks and his big crush and Dean with his chicks and his car and how cool Pete is and how little Jaime turns out to have in common with Sam when they really talk--everything feels very real and awesome and you deserve an award for writing a story that's so happy and so true to the Winchesters at the same time.
Aw, this is adorable. Sam is so believable as a shy and geeky 14yo whose got a little muffin top belly, just waiting to fuel his ginormous growth spurt. *pets him*
I really enjoyed this. The characters were all realistic and age appropriate. Sam actually sounded like a fourteen year old and I love that he is having moments with his father that aren't combative. So many writers only focus on Sam and John fighthing and it eventually not only sounds old, but unrealistic as well.

My original bigbang story spun out of control, so I had to go with this idea, which I originally envisioned as being around 10,000 words long. Because the bigbang minimum is 20,000, I had to add more to the story, and the Sam-and-John relationship was the bulk of that. I'm really pleased this worked for you!
