You did it again! I've been absolutetly riveted to this first part. I want the next chapter NOW! :)

I'm not familiar with this fairy tale at all, so I can't tell if you've made any changes in it, but I think you've done a great job in the casting, and you managed to include all sorts of call backs to canon, such as Lee's reaction to Sharon with Helo stepping between them when Lee discovered their connection. Very well done so far!

Blame Bee - I'm all for posting all at once, but she insisted on spreading it out. *cheerfully throws beta under the bus* I won't withold for long. It's written, just have to clean it up a bit.

Thanks.:) I'm glad it's working for you. Six Swans is not a popular fairy tale, but it is good. I'm staying pretty true to the bones of it but have fleshed it out a great deal.

Fic should be savored like fine wine. Suck it up, buttercup. ; P

Oh, innibis, your fairy tale retellings are absolutely mesmerising. I love how you take the trappings of bsg and the conventions of fairytales and refashion them into such brilliant, clever, gripping stories. And I cannot wait for the next couple of chapters. Frankly, I could have handled more swans, stat.

*hearts you*

Thank you. That is a really nice thing to say. I'm so glad that you've been enjoying them. It's been a really fun writing experience. Sort of feels like cheating in some ways to have it all laid out, but harder in others when certain plot points have to happen, no matter how difficult - if that makes any sense at all:).

And it won't be long for update. I'm too impatient.:)

*hearts you too*

This is excellent. These tales are getting better and better with each one. And they started off excellent. Really. Cannot wait for the next installment.

Thank you.:) They've totally taken over my brain now, which is rather frightening.

Oh! And I forgot to mention. The addition of Karl/Sharon. :) Made my day. While I don't ship anyone quite as much as I ship K/L they own a nice chunk of my heart.

Thanks. I just don't have it in me to write within BSG canon now so more fairy tales are a safe bet.

Plus look! Built in plotline! It appeals to my sense of laziness.

*g*

The fun part for me is building the background that makes a fairy tale plot plausible, even if I do still end up literally turning people into swans.
