i'm all for leadership from western states (i love the west!), but then again dick cheney is from the west, and i'm not so sure that he had a real 'western' pov.

i'm fairly ambivalent toward sarah palin. i worry more that she's being a pawn in a vast machine of which she is not completely aware, but that could be said for any candidate.
