I decided that summer is around the corner and waiting for me, so today I bought SUMMER CLOTHES (not very many, admittedly, which might be a good thing because it's still cold at the moment and I probably won't be able to wear them for MONTHS

sfdhjkf this series has so many feelings i can't even. it's amazing. i only watched like 5 episodes a long time ago but even back then the emotions were crushing. mihashi is so cute and you can't help but hope for the best whenever he appears on the screen. can't remember why i stopped watching but i plan to finish it one day. probably when i feel like being a sentimental sobfest lmoa.

Yeah, I found I would get so into it, it would be overwhelming at times (but in a good way!). I also didn't expect I would find Mihashi quite so ADORABLE, but I guess you can't not? It's a very easy series to watch, I'm just surprised I didn;t get to it sooner. I feel like I could quite easily put on any of the episodes now and enjoy it as a re-watch, too.

Aww, but fandom is a good thing~ I encourage it, even! It's a good thing to have some emotional investment in a series. Enriches your quality of life to experience a great series, and I am all for that :)

Oops, I didn't mean for this post to come off as complaining about that emotional reaction; I actually LOVE things that can tear my heart to pieces and if I don't care about the characters in a series then it's hard for me to keep watching, even if the plot is good. I definitely think that getting emotional over/invested in fiction is therapeutic at times. I like the feeling of going through these things with the characters. :D

AND YES, YOU DO.

I took ages to get around to it, though, so I can't really shove you towards it too hard (for me it just got to the point where I was feeling like the last person on earth to watch Oofuri and it was ridiculous, because as a series it has almost everything I'd want).

I AM JUST SPREADING THE URGE. It's not my fault that there's so much nice stuff out there (and that I hate so much of what I currently own and don't wear it anyway...).

I prefer it this way, but I'm aware that I do have some people friended who are either RL friends or people who I friended for reasons completely unrelated to fandom soooo I guess I'm just aware that they might be fed up with the constant anime/manga posts (although it doesn't bother me if people skip/stop reading my LJ).

OH GOD I WASN'T PREPARED FOR IT.

It's just such a precious scene. I am looking forward to seeing it in the manga, when I start reading it.
