I guess I should probably mention that I have a TWITTERIf anyone I have friended here on LJ has one, let me know so that I can follow you. Added you, too. I can see myself slipping into similar usage patterns but I guess that's better than using it when I have nothing to say.

I only use it for following cricket stuff i dont really post but have sent you a request i am viioletellie.

I am going to try reading some manga i wondered if you could recommenf something easy to start with? Thanks

Hmm, I tend to watch more anime than I read manga, but...

A good place to browse for series that you find interesting is MangaFox, because it has scanlations for many series online all in one place. It might be worth checking out what's popular on there, and you can also search by genre (got to Manga Directory and then click Option). The downside is that it's a bit hit-and-miss as there's so much manga out there that you're likely to run into a lot that doesn't appeal or is just downright bad.

Some series that I like and that I think are quite accessible to someone new to manga are Parasyte, Mushishi and Monster (and if you like vikings then maybe Vinland Saga?).

I think I'll go for it, but if I make an account there right now, it's just going to collect dust for a month because I doubt I have time to add another site to check/update until this crazy period of work is over. JANUARY. I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy spamming a Tumblr with hot fanart though (and seeing what friends post!).

This!. It's another blogging website, seems to be very visual - most of the Tumblrs I've seen are fandom-related and mainly used for posting fanart/screencaps or passing around funny images (if you see something you like you can repost it on your own Tumblr). Yeah, I don't know that much about it really, as I don't have one yet.

I ignored Twitter for a long time, but gave in eventually...
