This was a pretty simple episode that consisted nearly entirely of Island Flashback, which is good because it’s about time the filled us in on some island stuff, while a couple of significant changes to the status quo happen in Now Time.

And yet, he is. I can't explain it. But he is, as much as the skeevy Slade on the Teen Titans cartoon is. Is it possible that Deathstroke, one is sometimes a great antagonist and sometimes a total waste of space, is as versatile a character as all that?
